HOW TO REPAIR TEXTILE CLEANING SPRAY GUN : TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS

Are you having any kind of trouble using Arrow Textile Cleaning Spray Gun ? You need to know how to repair textile cleaning spray gun ? Your spray gun does not switch on when when trigger is pressed ? Your spray gun does not spray out the solvent ? The spray in the spray gun is inconsistent ? The spray gun is powered on, but there is no vibration, instead there is a humming sound in the spray gun ? To get answers for all these questions please read below :

Arrow spray gun does not switch on when the trigger is pressed

• Check if the power cord is correctly plugged in or not. If not, then plug the power code correctly and make sure the switch is on.
• Check if the current rating of the spray gun is same as the current rating in your region
• You need to replace the fuse inside of the spray gun if it has blown. To replace the fuse, please go through the "Usage" page of this webiste, point no. 5 under Maintenance of Arrow Spray Gun.

Spray gun does not spray out the solvent.

• Fill the required cleaning solvent or chemical in the cloth cleaning spray gun jar.
• Check if the nozzle cap has been removed for straight nozzle model of Arrow CM11 and Arrow CM16. If not, remove it.
• Ensure that the suction pipe is tightened properly. If not, lock it well, but dont over-tight it, since it may cause problems in spray gun.
• Is the pressure adjustment knob is turned in clock-wise direction fully. If yes, then turn it anticlockwise.
• If the Delivery Valve Cone set (Part No.17,18,19) is damaged then you need to replace it with the spare provided.
• Remove the cylinder and check if the Piston Spring is broken, replace with the spare provided if needed.

The spray is inconsistent and not smoothly flowing out of the spray gun.

• The spray gun could spray inconsistent solvent out of the spray gun if the nozzle has been blocked by contaminants / foreign objects. If you observer such obstruction on the nozzle tip, clear the blockage by using compressed air or by gently removing the object by use of a wire brush or nozzle cleaner (spare provided). It is very important to be careful so as not to damage the orifice of the nozzle, as this will make it useless completely. If there are no contaminants and still the spray is inconsistent, then the nozzle will have to be replaced with a new one. Contact the nearest Service Center for purchase of a new nozzle. (Please note, we also suggest changing the Delivery Valve Cone set with change of nozzle).

The spray gun is turned on, but there is no vibration. Instead I hear a humming sound.

• Open the cylinder and check if the piston has seized and got locked. If it has, then you need to gently remove the piston, clean the cylinder and the piston, and re-assemble it back.
• For any other problem please contact the Manufacturer or your nearest Service Centre for Repairs and Assistance. 
  IMPORTANT : Remove the plug from the socket before carrying out any adjustment, servicing or maintenance on the unit.
